Darts and Minds - a night at the people's palace - (project)

I finally realised my dream of documenting the fanatical darts crowd at Alexandra Palace on the opening night of the PDC championship in December last year -
On entering the main hall I was completely overwhelmed by the sheer scale and frenzied atmosphere of the occasion and for a moment wasn’t sure if I was man enough for the task ahead - I shot in b/w in an effort to turn down the volume of the subject matter and to enhance the sense of nostalgia that attending this event ignited in me from watching the darts on TV in the 70’s -
